Reach beyond your perception of a bespoke driving experience on this four-day tour through the impossibly dramatic landscape of Western Norway.

Behind the wheel of an Aston Martin sourced from our fleet, push your driving to the limits and discover truly astonishing scenery. From fjords, cascading waterfalls and mountains through to valleys, seas and the inimitable architecture of the region, this journey fuses nature, design and luxury to create an unforgettable Nordic experience.

Your Art of Living road trip begins in the Hotel Angvik Gamle Handelssted, a rare gem on the Norwegian Hotel scene with its magnificent views of Sunndalsfjorden. Here you can enjoy your stay in peaceful surroundings before you tackle the staggering Atlantic Ocean Road. This network of bridges, viaducts and causeways across an archipelago, is a feat of engineering and a challenging driving route. During the evening, unwind over drinks on the private terrace before an exquisite five- course dinner with wine pairings hosted by Aston Martin; the perfect opportunity to get to know your fellow guests.

On Day Two, you are free to explore the historical site of the hotel that dates back to the 1500s, before embarking on the legendary Trollstigen (“Troll’s Ladder”) drive. This serpentine mountain road stretching for 106km is one of the most famous National Tourist Routes due to its awe-inspiring views and 11 heart-stopping hairpin bends. Feel the adrenaline rush of the experience before reaching the highest point of the Isterdalen valley to enjoy a private lunch at the Trollstigen Kafe, where world-class architecture blends seamlessly into the natural surroundings.  The breath-taking views continue on a one-hour cruise from Geirangerford to Hellesyte, during which Art of Living guests will have access to their own private area on board to make the most of the views. The UNESCO-protected fjords are a stunning sight to behold and lead majestically to one of the most unique hotels in all of Europe, Hotel Union, Øye. Frequented by royalty, writers and adventurers since 1891 and located in the village of Øye by the Norangsfjord, this enchanting property overlooks a valley in the Sunnmøre Alps. You’ll enjoy dinner and drinks in the dining room furnished with antiques marking landmark moments in the hotel’s history. The dramatic combination of towering mountains, fjords and this truly charming hotel make Øye a simply unforgettable spot.

Begin the third morning swapping stories over a special breakfast by the lake.  This is an adventure featuring drives and boat journeys framed by unbelievable mountain views and crystal clear waters. There will be refreshments at the contemporary waterside Hotel Bosundet in the charming town of Ålesund, known for its Art Nouveau architecture. The memorable trip ends in style with a helicopter flight over the coastline, to one of Norway’s most delightful restaurants, Skotoholmen, where you will enjoy drinks and fire pit grilled canapés ahead of a six-course late lunch. On this islet, the modern open kitchen adds to the authentic experience as the menu features catch-of-the-day fish dishes. Enjoy the local seafood as the sun sets, before drinks and dessert are served on a private boat trip back to Hotel Bosundet – the perfect way to bid farewell to Ålesund.
