For the first time, Aston Martin’s Art of Living invites you to one of the world’s most prestigious private Members clubs, granting you exclusive entry to a world reserved for the lucky few. The Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle, can be found nestled in the Highlands of Dornoch, Scotland. Described as ‘Heaven on Earth’ by Andrew Carnegie, the man responsible for Skibo’s transformation into the prestigious haven it is today, Skibo has to be seen to be believed.
This four-day spectacular will see you take to the wheel of an Aston Martin, through the dramatic landscapes of the Highlands, and relax in the beauty of the Skibo Estate and Spa, while enjoying the traditions of Scottish culture with whisky tastings and a Ceilidh. The magic of Skibo can only truly be understood by those who have visited. The impressive Baronial architecture, finest Edwardian interior, world-class golf course, excellent food and unparalleled service make it world- class. You are welcomed to Skibo as an old friend and in the spirit of all Art of Living experiences, you are made to feel completely at home.
Following your official welcome to Skibo, you will be introduced to your Aston Martin before setting out on the open roads to the stunning Tarbat Ness Lighthouse, which lies inside the Moray Firth Special Area of Conservation, known for dolphin and whale watching activity. Evening cocktails and a private dinner will be hosted by Skibo archivist Victoria Connor who is an expert in the history of the estate.
Day Two is when the rugged beauty of the Highlands will unfold before your eyes. You will depart the estate for a partial loop on the world-famous North Coast 500, Scotland’s answer to Route 66. As you approach Achiltibuie, you will be awestruck by the varied terrains of the rugged mountain ranges and the shrouded peaks of Stac Pollaidh. These remote, challenging and beautiful ranges, offer unparalleled views of the dreamy Highlands.
On Day Three, the Art of Living team invites you to join in an afternoon of activities including clay pigeon shooting, archery and a whisky tasting workshop. For those wanting to relax, there is the magnificent spa, complete with stunning views from the pool.
Your final evening will feature a host of exceptional traditional festivities, including an address to the haggis in The Great Hall, another long-standing Skibo tradition, followed by a private farewell dinner. No visit to Skibo would be complete without a Ceilidh in The Great Hall. The Skibo band and dancers will ensure you are in step before the evening draws to a close, with whisky and cheese served in The Gun Room.
On the final morning, you will be invited to the front lawns of the castle for a special falconry display. As you bid a fond farewell to the castle, we are certain you will leave with many happy memories of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
